School Routine

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.

8:30am

Playground supervision begins.

For safety reasons no students should arrive at school before 8:30am unless attending OOSH or participating in before school extra-curricular activity supervised by staff.

Students should place their bags near their classrooms or in their designated morning line up area. In the event of rain, an announcement will be made and students should proceed directly to their lassroom where they will be supervised by a teacher.

9:00am

First bell rings and all students line up in their designated morning lines areas. On Monday morning a short assembly and announcements are made. On other days class teachers will meet their classes to escort them directly to their classrooms.

9:00am - 11:00am

Teaching and Learning Session 1

11:00am - 11:40am

Break 1 (supervised eating time for 10 mins and 30 mins of play)

11:40am - 1:40pm

Teaching and Learning Session 2

1:40pm - 2:20pm

Break 2 (supervised eating time for 10 mins and 30 mins of play)

2:20am - 3:00pm

End of day school bell rings. Students are dismissed from their classrooms. Supervision is provided at the pedestrian crossing and bus stop on Medusa Street. Students are expected to leave the school grounds or be collected by a parent or carer promptly at 3pm. Students whose parents or carers are late must wait at the office. If parents or carers are running late please telephone the school office on 9969 4260.
