Beauty Point Public School Local Area Enrolment - Kindergarten 2025
Children turning 5 before 31st July 2025 are eligible for enrolment.
Before completing your online application (below), please ensure you have the following documents ready to upload in the ‘supporting documents‘ section:
- Birth Certificate, Passport and/or Citizenship Certificate.
- Medicare Immunisation Records.
- Proof of address - Lease Agreement, Council Rates, Gas, Electricity, Water, Car Rego, Insurance, Internet.
- Medical Forms - Asthma plans, Anaphylaxis and or Allergy ASCIA plans, Speech, OT, or any other medical reports the school should be made aware of.
- Where applicable; please provide any formal Family Court Orders, Custody arrangements and/or AVO's. Please be assured all documents remain confidential.
Once you have collated all the above, please complete the online enrolment application. Your application will be sent to the school, you will then receive a confirmation email with further information regarding your child's enrolment.
Kindergarten 2025 Non-Local Application:
Please complete the online Out of Area application. In the considerations section, please state your valid reasons for wanting your child to attend Beauty Point Public School. If you currently have other children enrolled in the school, please state their name and current class.
The Kindergarten 2025 Out of Area online applications close Friday 20 September 2024.

Local enrolment area
Check your address on School Finder to see if it is within our local intake area. Most schools have designated local enrolment areas. Note: local enrolment areas are subject to change.
How to enrol
If you live in our intake area and would like to apply to enrol at our school, start by submitting an online enrolment application. Online enrolment is currently only available for Australian or New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.
If you are not able to apply online or you prefer not to, download the paper application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB) form. Please complete the form in English. A translated application to enrol may help you do this.
Online enrolment can also be used for out-of-area enrolment. Please note that out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.

How to enrol - Year 6 into Year 7
In NSW government schools, applying to move from primary school to high school is a 2-step process that starts with an Expression of Interest. Visit the moving to high school page to learn more about the process.
- If you have received an offer from our school for placement into Year 7 next year, the next step is to visit online enrolment to proceed with the offer and complete the enrolment application.
- If you did not submit an expression of interest or are not eligible, visit online enrolment to start a new application to our school.
- If you submitted your expression of interest using a paper form, or would prefer not to enrol online, use the application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB) form.

Temporary visas and international students
The Temporary Residents Program has information about eligibility and the forms to complete an application.
Distance education
Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.

International Students
Beauty Point Public School is able to enrol international students who meet the enrolment criteria advised by the Department of Education's International Unit.
As part of the NSW Department of Education, DE International manages the following programs:
- The international student program is for students who intend to graduate from our high schools or enrol in primary school
- The study abroad program is a short-term study program from one term to one year in NSW government high schools
- The temporary residents program supports temporary residents to enrol in NSW government schools
- The study tours program offers short-term educational experiences for student and adult groups in NSW government schools
- The secondary student exchange program is a reciprocal study program for NSW secondary students.
